CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS

    Authorize fleet access

    Approved Samsara OAuth app; credentials stay on the server.

    Match vehicles and devices

    Bind vehicle ID, VIN, plate, USDOT, gateway, and camera.

  3. 03
    Validate the announcement channel

    Confirm supported models, command latency, and playback receipts.

PILOT DEPENDENCY

The camera is the interface.

The intended experience uses the camera speaker with no driver phone. Public Samsara inventory and GPS APIs do not by themselves establish an arbitrary audio command channel.

In-cab announcements and any existing display must be validated with Samsara before enabling real bypass instructions.
